Our E-clipz are sent through e-mail in .pdf form. These must be read using Adobe Acrobat Reader or equivalent. 2. How do I get Adobe Acrobat? The free reader can be downloaded from this link: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html 3. How do I remove pages from a .pdf document? Pages cannot be removed unless you have purchased a copy of Adobe Acrobat Standard or Professional. The Reader by itself will not allow you to search the text. To remove a page, simply scroll to that page and then select Document->Extract Pages from the menus and follow the prompts (Acrobat 5.0). 4. How do I print in Adobe Reader? Click on File and go down to Print. Make sure you have the proper printer selected, and that you are on the right page to be printed. Then select OK to print your pages. 5. How do I search the .pdf attachment for keywords? Open the document and then press the “Ctrl” key and the “F” on your keyboard. You can also select Edit->Find from the menu. 6. Why can I see but not open my attachments? Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express: There is an option in the program that removes access to certain attachments. To change this setting, do the following: 1. In the menu bar, click on the "Tools" menu. Eudora/Other E-mail programs: Please contact your computer support team. If they are unable to help, you can e-mail questions to it@newzgroup.com. 7. Why am I not getting my attachments? One possibility is that your e-mail server stripped the attachment from your mail for security reasons (virus protection, spam, etc.). You can contact your computer support team or Information Service Provider (ISP) regarding this problem. If you aren't getting your attachments for any other reason, contact the Newz Group Support Team at it@newzgroup.com. 8. I accidentally deleted my email. Can I get a copy of the clips? Yes you can. Just send an e-mail containing your name, company name, client number (if you know it) and the date of clips you need to customercare@newzgroup.com. 9. Why do I get several e-mails from you in a day? Most every e-mail server requires that e-mail messages be less than 2 megabytes in size. We package your clips so that this requirement will be met. 10. Why doesn't anything happen when I click on the attachment? In some cases the mail program needs you to save your attachments before viewing them. Usually you can click on the attachment with the right mouse button (PC) or open the options menu (Mac) and choose "Save" or "Save As" and save the attachment to your computer. You can then open the attachment from the location you saved it to. 11.How do I remove a clip from my attachment? Consult our Adobe Acrobat FAQ. Usually the fault lies in your printer or printer drivers. Consult your computer support team and ask them to upgrade your printer and/or printer drivers. 13. Who should I contact if there is a technical problem with my attachments or with Clipz Clerk? Email it@newzgroup.com and our technical support team will get back with you. |
